It's been to long since I made a proper pencil portrait so I decided to give it a go.
I really like this pic of hyde and the effect of the black clothes versus his light skin, so pretty. And I've seen some versions of it been done by others, so I gave it a try as well.

Used Staedtler HB, 6B and 8B.
Paper size A3 / 11.75" x 16.5"

This is just PLAIN gorgeous!! The values on the black pants is fantastic and the blach and white contrast is just great!!

Just one more thing. if you happen to have this photo in some link or another. Maybe you could post it. I am facinated and would like to see what inspired you to draw from it. I have one phot I have worked from long ago. And it is facinating to see the original compared to what the artist has acomplished.
